In-between the Median Void Breath
The « In-between Median Void Breath » is the « Median Void Breath » where Creativity is born in-between Entropy and Memory. The « Median Void Breath » has its own idioms. Let’s discover it with « The Allegory of Camera & Obscura ».
I – The void pattern (Chapter reworded by Pam with my grateful thanks.)
The graphic pattern used here is this of the void, the emptyness . . as void as possible. Without having been standardized by any international organization, it is now consensually adopted by software developers specializing in graphics. It is used to represent empty layers, transparent layers, especially the alpha layer of GIF, PNG and TIFF pictures.
With digital technologies, our camera is no longer our sole instrument. With a camera, we can pick and gather raw pictures. With software (and all other tools we want), we are also Grand Chef . . having professional laboratories. Is this good, or bad? Is it necessary to be in favor of, or against, Photoshop? In my opinion there is no global answer to such a question. Every image needs to be evaluated individually. The duty of its author is to do the « minimum necessary », from nothing to everything, to give the best result.
In this way, void is a new color, a new sign, a new instrument. As with all tools, void is a pharmakon, both useful and/or noxious: It can allow the best result as surely as the worst. As always, the responsibility for the result doesn’t belong to the tool, but to each raw image and its author.
Let’s not be afraid to explore void in every way. Let’s hollow, pierce, dig, excavate, carve, void, tear, etc. (This is what I’m experimenting with it « …look in-between » set.) We will never discover all the possibilities of void. Entropy’s imagination will always be infinitely and richly more inexhaustible than ours. Come on my friends, let’s explore subtractionism, hollowism, voidism, deletism, vacuumism, even here . . median-voidism?
II – The median void breath
According to the Tao tradition, the « median void breath » is here where yin and yang are gathered. There would be neither yin nor yang without the median void metabolism, because it drains the best part of the both. He is the third element, the third blow who raises yin and yang to create and metamorphose emergences, always where they both surpass themselves.

The always new median void breath catalyzes emergences, he transcends them, he impregnates, fertilizes, enriches, etc. He is powerful but very discreet. He appears sometimes in shadows of few blows : interstices, links, meltings, alloys, nodes, alternations, symbiosis, rebounds, reflects and/or rhymes, etc. Sometimes he appears in our camera sights, and we hope to take him at the decisive instant. We imagine we capture him before he vanishes again, somewhere, elsewhere, in the in-between of memory and Entropy.

III – When the hyper-image writes an hyper-poem
What is an hyper-poem ? The literary principle was first invented by the founder of Oulipo : Raymond Queneau when he published its « One Hundred Thousand Billion Sonnets » (1961) .
An OuliPo is an Ouvroir of Potential Literature. On such concept was created the meta-concept of OuXPo considering that X can be instanciated in any Art. Considering that the « ouvroir » (the factory, the workshop, etc.) is here the World Wide Web and X the art to Hyperlink, to Picture, to Movie, to Post, ..etc. , this OuXPo is called here and forever an OuWwwPo (Let ‘s pronounce Ou-We-Po).
Here, the hyperpoem process consists in writing a great quantity of verses, following the same versification constraints (prosody, rhymes, etc), and then in producing a web-device (for example a flasm-machine) dedicated to compose poems by a randomly-guided selection allegorYthm among the pool of verses.
The « in-between hyperpoem » is such a device :
₪ The verses are randomly extracted from the titles gathered by the in-between median void breath hyper image,
₪ Each verse keeps memory of it’s mother-image and works as a hyper-link to its,
₪ Each text produced can be randomly ilustrated by one of the mother-images,
₪ The interface machine features give to each reader the possibility to be a new re-writer.
Yes my dear contacts and friends, an hyperpoem is a typewriter. Don’t forget to use all available features. Especially, don’t forget to re-word your own texts. The hyperpoem is re-wordable ! (Let’s click on, write, delete, cut and past what you want.). So each text produced is immediatly yours forever.
The in-between hyper-poem can produce approximately 2.2168732165e+17 different texts. If you need 1 minute to read each one, it will be necessary to dispose of more than approximately 215465987 years. This is also why I call it an . . hyper-poem.
To find your several prefered texts, you must proceed by . . serendipity : the Art to find something without really to search it, the art to reconcile Memory and Entropy (It’s not only an obsession, it’s just the reality, . . the serenipity is for example the way you use to surf among few millions of flickr images, isn’t it ?).
